The Gospel Demands Radical Compassion - David Platt
February 23, 2010 09:18 PM PST
The entire series can be heard here: http://www.brookhills.org/media/series/radical/ “In the same way, any of you who does not give up everything he has cannot be my disciple.” With these words, Jesus turned away large crowds who were following Him. With grace and authority, He beckoned potential followers to consider the demands of discipleship. For most, the price was too high and the cost was too great. In the 2000 years since Jesus spoke these words, it begs the question: Do we in contemporary Christianity realize the high price of following Jesus? Do we understand the great cost for all who call themselves followers of Christ? Take a closer look at the words of Jesus that require us to consider the implications of the Gospel for every facet of our lives. RADICAL

This is Refuting a book by Douglas J Del Tondo called "Jesus' Words Only or Was Paul the Apostle Jesus Condemns in Revelation 2:2"

This is the first episode in a series that is refuting the idea that Paul contradicted Jesus, and that Paul was the true founder of the Christian faith.

People claim that that Jesus taught salvation by works and Paul taught the opposite I.E. salvation by faith alone in Jesus Christ..

More claims include that the other apostles rejected Paul and even that Paul was the "False Apostle" spoken of in Revelations 2:2

Needless to say this is deception intended to get people to throw away their bibles but it was fun refuting the claims...more to come
